Kuhn Horns, American Horn Quartet Music

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

Just a note to let you all know that I have 2 Kuhn horns here in the shop which were ordered for the Denver Symposium. Anyone who would like to can stop by and try them out before I sell them at the IHS convention.
Also - after a long hiatus I have found a supplier of American Horn Quartet Sheet music - over the next week or so I will be posting loads of their music to sell!

Denver IHS

Thursday, June 19th, 2008

I’m going to be driving (yes… driving) to Denver for the IHS convention. If you’re going to be there, and would like me to bring a specific horn please let me know as soon as possible!
Thanks
Ken

Horn Mouthpieces Now in Stock

Saturday, May 31st, 2008

I’ve finally decided to spend my children’s upcoming college tuitions by stocking french horn mouthpieces. Currently I have Stork and Giardinelli Mouthpieces in stock!

LET ME SELL YOUR HORN!!

Friday, May 16th, 2008

The IHS Symposium in Denver is coming right up, and I’ll be driving 2000 miles with a car full of horns, music and, well, everything Horn - to sell at this show. If you have a horn you’d like me to consign for you NOW is the time to get it to me!
There are other places that want to sell your horn - but beware of sending them overseas! Once it is there, it is VERY costly to get it back!
I sell horns for major players world wide, and would love to sell yours for you.
Please contact me!

Stork & Laskey Mouthpieces

Monday, May 5th, 2008

Just a note to let you all know that I am becoming a dealer of Stork and Laskey mouthpieces. Watch for them soon!
Also, Bonna cases have begun arriving again! Look at the Marcus Bonna page to see if the model you want is in stock.

My Goal! - A new product every day for a year!

Wednesday, March 26th, 2008

Beginning on April 1st I’m going to try to post a new product - every day! (Notice I said ‘Try’…) So, I’ll need your help. If you know of products that I should be carrying - email me! Tell me!

Marcus Bonna Cases IN STOCK/ New Frippery!

Friday, March 7th, 2008

Those of you who have been (patiently) waiting for the MB5’s and MB7’s - they’re in!
If anyone wants a custom color - contact me this coming week as I’ll be placing a new master order.
DON’T be fooled by shops who can’t sell Original Bonna Cases. These companies sell the Chinese Import cases instead (without mentioning that they’re made in China… ). Do you want to trust your horn to their claim that the Chinese ‘copies have everything the Bonna’s do - except the price?’ If you’ve seen the Chinese horns, you’ll know how the quality of those products is not in the same ball park!

Also, Spike (Lowell Shaw) has done it again. Volume 10 of the famous Fripperies series is hot off the press, and available NOW. I have a limited number of copies for immediate shipping. Be the first quartet in the area to play them!

NY Phil Wagner Tuben for Sale

Saturday, February 2nd, 2008

I’m pleased to announce that Pope Instrument Repair has been chosen by the New York Philharmonic to consign their set of 4 Alexander Wagner Tuben. (2 in F, and 2 in Bb - all 4 valve configurations). These are all in very good condition, and I would like to sell them as a set.
Talk to your Orchestra! Remember, they can rent them out and have them pay for themselves.
Pictures will be posted soon in the ‘Store’ section of the site.

New Links

Monday, December 31st, 2007

I’m slowly getting this site looking how I’d like it to be! I’ve just added a new section on the left called Horn Rescources - where you can read (and soon see) how to pack your horn, and you can print out a PDF file on horn upkeep.
PLEASE WRITE REVIEWS for products you are familiar with! It helps out other customers!
New music and cd’s added daily in the Store section of the site!
