Specialty Horns

Alexander Descant model 107V

Alexander only made a handful of the model 107V and  it's an interesting design.  It's a compensating Bb/high F horn.  The bell is nickel  and I'm not certain if it's the bell that originally came with the horn (but it is an Alexander bell).  It's miniature size is perfect for standing gigs (think: Bach B Minor Mass).  The valves have fair compression, and the horn has minor dings throughout.  A real collector's item.

Syrhe Piccolo Horn

This Syrhe Piccolo horn in Bb is not a toy....it's not a cheap Chinese copy... it's a specialized professional instrument made in Leipzig Germany with the preciseness of German Craftsmanship.  Simply said, it's GORGEOUS.  This is the same model that Peter Damm uses on his cd's!

It's made of unlacquered yellow brass, in perfect condition.  For those ultra-high Bach, or Haydn horn parts THIS is the instrument.
