Lewis and Duerk LDx7 'Schmidt style' Double

LDx7 “Schmidt” style - designed in collaboration by Steve Lewis and Dietmar Durk!

If you've ever played a Schmidt model horn with tight valves you already know what possibilities exist.  The LDx7 takes the best of the old design, and upgrades it with modern technology, and design.  The open feeling of the Schmidts you remember from long ago is still there, and you no longer need to worry about that high Bb - it's as secure as can be.  This model is also available with a lever activated piston (at an extra charge) - but that option is usually used by people with smaller hands.

Design features: long lead pipe design, nickel silver “Lewis” lead pipe, piston thumb valve (extra Bb piston included), string linkage for 1st, 2nd, 3rd valves, detachable bell, yellow brass, hand-lapped and machine honed slides.

Available options are: fixed bell, gold brass body, lacquer, Adjustable finger-hook, adjustable flipper (hand-rest)
